Dashing Through December - But Wait; There is Always Time for Safety

Happy December! Month #12 has finally arrived and there is certainly a lot going on during the last few weeks of the year, isn't there? Safety doesn't take a break over the holidays, and since we want you here to enjoy, celebrate, and have lots of warm and fuzzy moments, we've put together a list of helpful reminders.

Dashing through December can be a disaster. Stay alert and watch for everyone.

Whether bike, car or sleigh, pause to be sure you live another day.

Holiday festivities abound during this time of the year. Slow down in your 'hood - watch for parade-goers, pedestrians, children and floats.

Keep the happy in this time of the year by focusing, dropping that phone into the glove compartment, or locking it in the trunk.

Keep the happy in December.... let's make it a month to remember - in a GOOD way.

We're going to be celebrating with friends, going out for a night on the town, working our way through the happiest time of the year, right? But what happens when you start drinking and then can't tell if you are qualified to drive or not?

** WE HAVE A SOLUTION **

It's called "Before You Drink, THINK", and it works like this -
Decide in advance who is drinking, and who is piloting the rest of them home. Take turns, so it's fair. TALK about this decision in advance.

Now, if you're going out to meet your peeps, then it's on you to get home alive by:

(A) calling a cab,

(B) ordering an Uber,

(C) taking the bus, 

(D) phoning a friend,

(E) spending the night.

Any or all of these suggestions are perfectly appropriate options, AND won't get you on the naughty list. We're pretty serious about this, so we're going to go ahead and invite EVERYONE (yes, that means you), to do one of the above and spread this message. Your participation is greatly appreciated!
